Looking for a consultant to work with you on your latest project? Someone to think and plan with you...and not override your own ideas and emerging plans? If so, Dr. Chloe Kannan is your ideal partner. I had the good fortune of working with Chloe on the design and development of our Consortium for Mental Health and Optimal Development here at the University of Pennsylvania. She collaborated with our design team to figure out how best to create buy-in from partnering school districts, and how to move the work forward in the most effective, consumer-oriented ways. All along the way, the depth of her educational practice and leadership shone through, along with her research-to-practice knowledge, allowing us to figure out how best to study the benefits of our work. Since completing that collaboration, I have followed Chloe as she applies her talents in the higher education, community, and busines sectors. She's a one-of-a-kind connective leader, always bringing unique and engaging perspective. Bring her onto your team and see the results for yourself!

I have had the good fortune of working closely with Dr. Chloe Kannan across sectors, contexts, countries, and continents for 7+ years. Each time that we collaborate, I learn a great deal from her professionalism, assets-based approach, and how she potentiates people and systems. As a consultant and advisor, Dr. Kannan brings catalytic knowledge, relational care, and actionable insight to everything she leads, designs, facilitates, and implements. As a consultant, advisor, applied researcher, professional learning facilitator, and culturally responsive curriculum designer, Chloe’s research rigor and methodological acumen, emotional and cultural intelligence, active listening and strategic advising skills are unparalleled in my 25+ years as an organization-systems-community consultant, advisor, learning design architect, and applied researcher. Dr. Kannan designs, leads, and engages in leading-edge research and consulting with diverse communities around the country and the globe, leading participatory research across contexts including Youth Participatory Action research (YPAR), school- and community-based research, systems thinking and emergent design research, developing and implementing mission-focused organizational and workplace learning architectures, designing knowledge ecosystems that index and integrate Indigenous-Western knowledge systems, and building research-practice partnerships to promote practitioner-scholarship and facilitate mission-focused improvement. Dr. Chloe Kannan is the consummate researcher, consultant, and advisor, she leaves every organization, system, leader, and community member exponentially better off than when she arrived and, in this way, embodies the notion of consultant as alchemist.

Dr. Chloe Kannan expertly weaves together her intelligence, compassion, and strategic approach to her work. I was fortunate to work with Dr. Kannan on a student assessment project helping to drive undergraduate student success. My experience was positive from start to finish. Her deep understanding of Native American student needs, combined with her thoughtful and data-driven approach, provided critical data and holistic recommendations that will directly support future initiatives. Dr. Kannan effectively communicated her well-designed methods and synthesized findings to not only highlight success but also offered practical, culturally responsive strategies to enhance support for our students. I am grateful for her expertise, respect her charming energy, and appreciate the opportunity to collaboratively work with her in efforts to foster an inclusive and empowering academic environment.
